The whole service is professionally managed and timely updated to ensure it is always in line with the latest legislative requirements. The flow charts explain to you in more detail how e-filing or getting companies data works.
E-filing of CT and iXBRL Accounts to the HMRC
There are 3 documents you need to e-file all at once for your Corporation Tax (CT) returns to HMRC. These are
• Your Annual Accounts in iXBRL format
• Your Computation of the Accounts in iXBRL format
• The CT600 in XML format
You prepare your annual accounts in the usual way but to e-file them to HMRC you need to have your accounts and computation converted into iXBRL using a third party tool. After you have these files converted you should upload them to our system over the Internet.
For the CT600 you should first place your data onto a spreadsheet given by us. After the CT600 spreadsheet is populated you should save it as a CSV file and then upload it to our system. If there are any errors in your files we will throw an error message indicating to you where the errors are at the time when you upload the file so that you can correct them before e-filing, thus eliminating any e-filing failures.
Once our system has got all 3 files we will convert the CT600 into XML. HMRC requires that the CT600 and the IXBRL Accounts and Computations are e-filed to them in one XML file. Our system will automatically do that for you. Just before the data is e-filed to the HMRC we provide a final approval process allowing you to have a final check through the 3 files in a HTML and PDF format. Once you are happy with the data you simply press the 'Go' button and our system will automatically e-file the data for you.
E-filing of iXBRL Accounts to the Companies House
To e-file your iXBRL Accounts to Companies House the process is identical to e-filing your CT600 to HMRC. First you need to get the Annual Accounts for Companies House converted into an iXBRL file.
You then upload the iXBRL Accounts to our system over the https. We also provide you with a spreadsheet to fill in your e-filing credentials. This is known as the Companies House Form Header.
Upon receiving both your iXBRL Accounts and the CFH we will first convert the CFH into XML and then tag it with the iXBRL Accounts. The iXBRL Accounts are ready for e-filing once the tagging process is completed, within a matter of seconds. We also provide a final checking and approval process securely over the Internet for you to invite any managers or auditors to have the final look at the accounts before you e-file them.
Getting Company Data from Companies House
The process of getting an acknowledgement of what you e-filed to Companies House, or other companies data, is different from that of HMRC. We provide both services.
Finding out if your iXBRL Accounts e-filing has been successfully received by HMRC or CH is easy. We combine your e-filing credentials and the cross-reference our system generates with the protocol stated by both the HMRC and CH so we can advise you accurately of the status of your e-filing and produce the Certificate of Proof of e-filing.
E-filing of PAYE, VAT and CIS data to HMRC
Whether you are e-filing your P45, P46, P14, P35, P11D, WNU, CIS300 or VAT data to the HMRC, the process is the same.
• First is downloading the respective document spreadsheet template from our website.
• Second is populating your document details onto the spreadsheet and then saving it as a CSV file.
• Third is uploading it to our system and we will automatically convert it into an XML file and e-file it for you.
• Fourth is you downloading or printing out the successful e-filing certificate
